HIPs & Domestic Energy Assessors

Changes in the house selling process have been introduced this year as a result of the Government's commitment to reducing carbon ommissions from domestic property. When preparing to sell a property with three or more bedrooms, a Home Information Pack will be required in order to adhere to the new legislation.

At Bray & Co we have trained members of staff who can lead you through the new procedures and advise you on how to obtain the mandatory documents and certificates ahead of marketing your home.

Within the Home Information Pack, a Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) will need to be obtained to illustrate to potential purchasers the efficiency of the home and when necessary any recommendations to improve the energy performance of the dwelling.

As well as being able to value your home, Bray & Co have a number of Domestic Energy Assessors who are readily available to undertake the necessary inspection and provide the EPC for your property.

The prices for our energy assessments vary according to the size and construction of each individual property, but please do telephone us to obtain a quote for this relatively straight forward inspection.

So whether you are a home owner; estate agent; solicitor or financial advisor, our Energy Assessors will be able to provide you with all the information, regulations and certificates you need in order to progress with the sale or transfer of your property.

For further information or to book an Energy Performance Certificate please complete the section to the right of this information.
