Top Tips for Selling Your Home
Kerb Appeal

The first time we advertise your property a colour exterior photograph will be used, so it is very important to tidy up or re-paint the outside of your home.

Gardens
Very important for prospective buyers that the outside areas of the property look well tended and attractive. Pots of flowers can add that extra bit of colour for a quick makeover.

Maintenance
Finish off any on going maintenance within the property and perhaps brighten up tired rooms with a fresh coat of paint. Neutral colours will give any room the illusion of space and reflect light if you have a property with low ceilings, especially in properties where there are beamed ceiings.

De-Clutter
Throw out any unwanted items, remove excessive clutter and clean throughout. Use storage areas within your home to put away items that are not essential for everyday living.

Kitchens & Bathrooms
The most important areas of the home as it is normally the female of the partnership who will make the decision on which home to buy. Even if your kitchen is dated, clean and uncluttered worksurfaces and appliances are a must. Units could be enhanced with a coat of paint or even new door handles. Keep bathrooms well ventilated and remove or repaint any areas that need freshening up.

Lighting
Before a viewing ensure all bulbs are working. Placing a table lamp in a dark corner will enhance the area and give a room the illusion of appearing larger.
